Social Relations
Based on its corporate philosophy of realizing affluent lifestyles, participating in cultural activities and developing and improving social personality, MJS engages in a variety of social contribution activities, including protecting cultural heritage and promoting sports.
Here we introduce some of MJS's support activities.
Support for Sports Activities
MJS aims to support sound activities that help create a brighter society, including sports promotion and youth development activities. Currently, MJS has CSR partnerships with the J League soccer team Tokyo Verdy and women's soccer team Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza; and sponsors the Legend Players Club and Team UKYO.
CSR Partnerships with Tokyo Verdy (J League Soccer Team) and Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza (Women's Soccer Team)
MJS has signed CSR partnership agreements with the J League soccer team Tokyo Verdy and women's soccer team Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza, and is actively engaged in activities that contribute to local communities—including environmental preservation, sports promotion and youth development activities—together with these partners.
Sponsorship of the Legend Players Club
MJS sponsors the Legend Players Club, which was launched on September 27, 2010.
Going forward, MJS will aid in the hosting of soccer clinics and other coaching sessions for improving soccer skills, and provide support for the holding of various charity events organized by the Legend Players Club.
Sponsorship of Team UKYO (Led by Former F1 Driver Ukyo Katayama)
MJS sponsors Team UKYO, led by former Formula One driver Ukyo Katayama.
In addition to the goal of contributing to society through sports, MJS also endorses Ukyo Katayama's strong message of wanting to convey the importance of continuously attempting new challenges to as many people as possible, including children.
Support for Cultural Activities
MJS aims to help protect Japan's fantastic art and culture, and pass them on to future generations. Currently, we support the activities of Tokyo National Museum and the Foundation for Cultural Heritage and Art Research.
Patronage of Tokyo National Museum
MJS aids and supports the Tokyo National Museum's collection, storage, and exhibition of cultural properties, as well as research that forms a basis for it, and educational / dissemination activities.
Support for the Foundation for Cultural Heritage and Art Research
MJS subsidizes the Foundation for Cultural Heritage and Art Research in its preservation, restoration and management of cultural and artistic properties, culturally significant buildings and tangible folk cultural properties, as well as research in art-related fields such as fine art and music.
